Nataliya Hluschuk from Kiev, Ukraine took the overall lead of the Ten Day with 135 miles after two days. Petr Spacil is still leading the men with 133 miles. The stiff breezes in Flushing Meadow Park turned nasty for a few hours in the afternoon as 50+ mph gusts(80kph) roared into the area. Of course, the fearless runners continued on, until the air turned cold. Krastin Vasilev,25, moved up to second for the men, third overall. with 58 miles and a grand total of 129.
