INDIANAPOLIS - Colleen De Reuck has been named USA Track & Field's Athlete of the Week for winning the 2005 U.S. Masters 10 km Championships on Sunday. The event was held in conjunction with the Heritage Oaks Bank 10K in Paso Robles, California.

The women's 2004 Olympic Marathon Trials champion, De Reuck (41) easily won her first-ever masters' only competition in 33 minutes, 33 seconds. Diane Bussa finished as the runner-up in 35:20.

Now in its fifth year, USATF's Athlete of the Week program is designed to recognize outstanding performers at all levels of the sport. USATF names a new honoree each week and features the athlete on the USATF website. Selections are based on top performances and results from the previous week.

Congratulations Colleen from the SCMT!
