Bishwas is one of the organizers of the SCMT's shorter distance races that take place in New York. Few things give Bishwas greater joy than seeing a pack of enthusiastic runners take off at the start of an SCMT race!

Thank you to all the runners and volunteers for making today's event in Alley Pond Park a successful "return to racing" for the Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team.

Congrats to Sanjay Rawal for bagging first place men under 50 and smashing the 5K course record at the same time, and to Jourdan Garnett for taking first place women under 50 and setting the women's course record simultaneously.
