Bishwas is one of the organizers of the SCMT's shorter distance races that take place in New York. Few things give Bishwas greater joy than seeing a pack of enthusiastic runners take off at the start of an SCMT race!

1. Information provided in contact form entries

The information you provide is only used to address your contact form request, unless a specific opt-in checkbox has been provided to ask your consent in other uses (eg mailing lists for upcoming events).
Information submitted via contact forms on the site is stored on our servers in encrypted form. After use, we will no longer store the data. Form submissions older than 6 months will automatically be deleted from our servers.

2. Use of Cookies

The videos we embed on the site are hosted by external video players Vimeo, YouTube, and Instagram (3100 Mile Race page only).In addition, for pages that display live race results or timing data, cookies may be set by MyRaceResults (the external results platform) to ensure the live results display correctly and update in real time.If you visit a page containing an embedded video or live results, these external services may issue cookies. 3. Statistics and server logs

We use Statcounter to gather statistics on how visitors find and use our site, which helps us make the site better. In order to do so, Statcounter collects the time and date of visit (to help us understand when are the busy times on the site), the IP address, information about browser, operating system and device information such as type and screen size (so we can make sure that the site is working well on all browsers, operating systems and devices) and referring data such as search engine links (this can help us to understand which search engines are helping visitors to find our website). The same information is also logged by our own servers for security.
We collect server logs, encrypt and delete after 2 months. We remove visitor information from all backups

4. Cloudflare and Akamai

We use Cloudflare and Akamai Technologies as content-delivery and security services to improve website speed and reliability, and to protect against attacks.These providers may temporarily process visitor IP addresses and related technical data for security and performance purposes.Their privacy policies can be found here:
