Ten Day Men
In a promising running career, Petr has completed ten ultras and five multidays. He ran 1085 miles in eighteen days of the 1300 miler last yearas well as 612 miles in theTen Day Race, where he finished in fourth place. his best for six days is 400 miles.
Luis Rios,57, Brooklyn, NY USA
In 2004 Luis ran 646 miles in the 700 mile race,the furthest he has gone in a multiday event. A fixture at all shorter ultras in the New York area, Luis has had a long and prolific running journey. He has completed over 200 ultras, including a best at 24 hours-140 miles, and several fast 100 milers to his credit. He has done ten multiday events, with a best of 421 miles for six days. He ran 525 miles in the Ten Day race in 2001 as well as in 2003.
Tibor Malits,33, Szekesfehervar, Hungary
A veteran of 10 multidays and 40 ultras, Tibor has best of 564 miles in the Ten Day, and completed the 700 miler in 11 days 13 hours, both in 2001.
Miroslav Pospisek,44, Prague, Czech Republic
Last year Miroslav ran 326 miles in the Six Day event, good for seventh place for the men. He has completed three multidays and 13 ultras oin nine years of running.
Tamas Agostin,40, Budapest, Hungary
Tamas completed 404 miles last year in the Ten Day, and 420 miles in the 700 miler, his first two multidays in 15 years of running.
Gabor Kalman,39,Szeged, Hungary
Gabor completd 387 miles in the Ten Day, his first splash in the multiday waters. He has been running for five years.
Uwe Postler,41, Innsbruck, Austria
Last year Uwe ran 273 miles in the Six day event, his first multiday. He has run over 30 ultras in 13 years of running.

Lucian made his multiday debut with 252 mile in the six day last year. He has been running for five years.
Krastin Vasilev,25, Sofia, Bulgaria
Last year, Krastin managed two multidays: 252 miles in the Six Day, and then 510 miles in his first 700 mile race.He has been running for 13 years.
Klaus Schulz,64,Berlin, Germany
Klaus has been running for 11 years, including 29 ultras and 26 marathons.In 2004 he completed 395 miles in the Ten Day race, including 256 miles for six days.

Vedisha ran the 2003 Six Day race, finishing 277 miles. She has been running seven years.

Karina returns to the Ten Day after having run 423 miles last year. She has been running for 12 years.
Kushali Tarantsova,38, Kiev, Ukraine
Kushali has been running for ten years. Her multiday debut was last year, when she completed 234 miles.
Nataliya Hlushchuk,29, Kiev, Ukraine
Nataliya has run four ultras in ten years but is making her first multiday in this race.
Sarah Barnett,29, Melbourne, Australia
Sarah is venturing past 24 hours for the first time in this race. She has been running for 12 years.

Six Day Men
Rimas Jakelaitis,49,Brooklyn,NY (Lithuania)
Rimas won the Ten Day last year for the fourth time with 653 miles. In 2000, Rimas astounded everyone with a world record of 16 days 00 hours in the 1300 miler, taking over 15 hours off the record as well as gaining the 2000 km world best. In 2001 he won the Ten Day race, running 901 miles for ten days, in the process passing 600 miles for six days, an Herculean feat. In 1999 he won the Six-day race with 517 miles, as well as running 954 miles in the fall 1300 miler. He holds the Lithuanian record for 100 km( 7:20)and has run the marathon in 2:35. He even ran the 3100 miler in 2002, completing the distance in 50 fays 2 hours.He has also won several shorter ultras in the New York area.
Martin Wagen,25, Oberwil, Switzerland
In seven years of running, Martin has become an accomplished runner. In 2002 he won the Run Across America race 4860 km(3020 miles) in 71 stages. The following year he placed second in the only Trans Europe Footrace(5036 km(3129 miles) in 64 stages. He has run 226 km(140 miles) for 24 hours.
Danny Ripka,47,Naples, FL. USA
In nine years of running ultras, Danny has completed fifty races.. Noteworthy results include a second place in the 2004 US National Championship 24 Hour race with 136.8 miles, 142 miles in 24 hours in 1997, a first place in the F.A.N.S. 24 hour(127 miles) in 2004, and 216 miles in the 48 hour at Surgeres(2000). This will be his first attempt at six days.
Christopher Rana, 28, Hamburg, Germany
In five years of running, Christopher has completed four multidays. His bests include 603 miles for ten days, 385 miles for six days, and 700 miles in 11 days,14 hours.
Mark Dorion,45, El Paso,TX USA
Mark has been running 34 years, completing over 100 ultras. Bests include 131 miles for 24 hours, 5:55 for 50 miles, 7:36 for 100 km, and 2:27 for the marathon. He has twice attempted the Barkley Marathon in Tennesee, the toughest 100 miler in the world. This will be his first attempt at six days.
Bob Oberkehr,50,Northvale, NJ USA
Bob has run 32 ultras in 30 years of running. His best 24 hours was 119 miles(2003). This will be his first multiday.
Fred Riemer,57, Salt Lake City, UT USA
Fred has completed over130 ultras in 28 years of running. Best performances include 118 miles for 24 hours, several finishes of high mountain 100 mile races, and completion of our Five Day Race back in 1987 (268 miles). Welcome back, Fred!
Chanakhya Jakovic,51,Jamaica, NY (UK)
In 32 years of running, Chanakhya has completed over 50 ultras, including 20 multidays. His bests are 308 miles for six days, and 653 miles in the 1000 mile race(2003).

Peter was able to complete 300 miles in the Six Day race last year. He has been running for four years.

Edison has run six ultras. He is the president of the Provincial Sport Federation of the state of Morona Santiago, Ecuador.

Walter ran 159 miles before injury forced him out of the 2004 700 Mile Race. he has been running for 19 years.
Enrique Marcelo Haro Villarreal, 40, Macas, Ecuador
Enrique Marcelo has run six ultras. he is the president of the Provincial Commitee of Athletes for Morona Santiago, Ecuador.
Roman Dzierlatka,48,Bristol,CT USA
Roman has completed over 40 ultras, including four multidays in his 27 years of running. Last year he ran 269 miles for six days.
Michal Petricek,40, Brno, Czech Republic
Michal completed 424 miles in the Ten day, his fifth multiday event in three years of running ultras.

Six Day Women
Dipali Cunningham,46, Melbourne, Australia
Dipali is one of the world's best women ultra-distance runners. She has won 16 of the 19 multiday events she has entered since 1992, including four overall victories. In the spring of 2001 she set a new women's world record on the road for six days with 510 miles, defeating all the men in that race. In 2001 she ran 700 miles in 9 days 11 hours, the third fastest all-time for women. She has completed the 700 mile race eight times. In 1998 she set a women's world best on the road for six-days with 504 miles, despite heavy rains at Wards Island Park. In 1999 she won the 700 mile race overall in 10 days, 21 hours. She is ranked third in the world for 700 miles, and third for 1000 miles, having dominated the women's 1000 mile race in 1997 in 13 days, 20 hours. She has won all seven Six-Day titles in our spring-time event.Last May, Dipali set a new women's age group 45-49 world best for six days with 479 miles.In the fall, she won the 700 mile race overall, her eighth victory in that event.
Kaneenika Janakova,35,Bratislava,Slovakia
In ten years of running, Kaneenika has completed five multidays and 12 ultras. Her bests include 406 miles for six days, 700 miles in 10 days, 19 hours, and 1000 miles in 15 days, 19 hours. All three marks are Slovakian national records.
Elvira Janosi,49, Palic, Serbia-Montenegro
A seasoned veteran of 40 years of running, Elvira has travelled the world and competed everywhere. She holds national records at six days, ten days, 1000 km and 700 miles. She has won the Ten Day Race four times for the women, including a best of 550 miles. She completed the 700 mile race in 2000 in 12 days four hours.
Karnayati Morison,58,Ottawa,Ont. Canada
Karnayati has run 11 ultras in 30 years of running.Her two multidays include 274 miles for six days, and 508 miles in the 700 mile race.
Petra Missbrenner,35, Vienna, Austria
Petra has been running for 11 years. this will be her first multiday event.

Dharmaputri has completed three ultras in 14 years of running. This is her first attempt at six days.
